It's possible to find really good deals during sales and on clearance racks. Full price items are a steal at times. The racks are well organized most of the time and the fitting rooms are well done. Most of all the staff is very friendly and helpful at this store!"

Oct 30, 2017 · Affectionaly known as "Woodies," Woodward & Lothrop was a much beloved department store. In fact, it was DC’s first department store opening in 1887. The flagship store on 10th, 11th, F and G Streets was 10 old st louis department stores stories tall and held over 400,000 square feet. The building was declared a DC Historic Landmark in 1964.
