Rewinding the clock, the St. Louis Mills Mall in Kirkwood opened it’s doors to the public in late 2003. The mall, originally called St. Louis Mills, was opened in 2003 by the Mills Corporation and featured over 200 stores. Like most of their other malls, many stores catered to the off price crowd and the building was split up into neighborhoods with vibrant colors and sculptures throughout.Chris said there had been a Metro Fire Department Museum at St. Louis Mills Mall (now St. Louis Outlet Mall, Hazelwood, St. Louis County, Missouri) st louis mills mall redevelopment but it had closed a few years ago.
